Representatives of the “Agency of Deposits Compensation” took part in the International Conference "Success Story: 20 years of the Russian deposit insurance system"

Representatives of the “Agency of Deposits Compensation” of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter – the Agency) took part in the International Conference "Success Story: 20 years of the Russian deposit insurance system", held by the state Corporation "Deposit Insurance Agency" (Russian Federation). The event was held in the period from January 31 to February 1, 2024 in Moscow.
The event was attended by representatives of international organizations-deposit insurers from 20 countries. The International Conference was a forum for discussion and exchange of experience on the most pressing issues in the field of deposit guarantee systems development. The conference discussed issues of digital transformation of the activities of deposit insurance organizations, insurance of partner financial products, harmonization of mechanisms for protecting depositors within the framework of the EAEU and other international integration associations, etc. also where heard reports from representatives of the legislative and executive authorities, the banking and expert community of the Russian Federation on the topics: “Fintech ecosystem in Russia”, “On the activities of the Financial Commissioner's Service and prospects for its development, taking into account current problems of the financial market", “Partner financing in the Russian Federation", “Financial harmonization within the EAEU”.
During the panel session “Harmonization of mechanisms for protecting depositors within the framework of the EAEU and other international integration associations” and the panel session “Looking into the Future”, Deputy Director General Svetlana Lega and Deputy Director General Yuri Lipnitsky acted as speakers.
